Disabled Hunts

We at Whitetail Creek will make every effort to accommodate any disability for any game we hunt. We have blinds that are handicap accessible, and in some circumstances, handicap persons can get a permit to shoot from a vehicle. We will offer special rates for these hunts.

Prairie Dogs

If you really want to hone in your shooting skills and have a good time doing it - try prairie dog hunting. Our leases have as much as 20,000 acres of prairie dog towns. Prairie dog hunts are generally 3 days with guide, meals, and lodging provided. We supply guides to act as spotters and professional shooting branches to insure precision shooting. Most people like to bring 2 rifles, so as not to overheat the barrel. We have extra ammunition in our gun shop for most standard calibers - if you shoot more than you brought. Late spring and summer is a great time for hunting prairie dogs, as they are more active on warm sunny days.

Coyotes

Coyotes can be hunted year round, but if you are interested in the pelt, we recommend the winter months. We primarily hunt by calling but we will work with you on any method that you prefer. Packages are usually 3 days with meals, guide, and lodging provided but we are flexible.

 

Buffalo

One of our neighboring ranches has a free roaming buffalo herd on over 30,000 acres. They are trying to cull out some of the older bulls. We can arrange this hunt, and supply you with lodging and meals. We will also take your meat to the processor and your head to our taxidermist. We recommend winter, as coats are better.
